Filter presses remove undissolved solids from a liquid. They generally operate in batch mode rather than continuously. The liquid is fed into the chambers between the plates holding the filter elements and allowed to impregnate the membranes. Pressure is applied to the plates, squeezing the remaining impurities out of the liquid to complete the filtration process.
Applications
These devices are common in the food industry, as well as in the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors. In addition, they are employed to dewater sludge in wastewater treatment plants.
Recessed Chamber Filter Press Plates

Gasketed (CGR) Filter Plates
These filter plates are utilized in various brands of recessed chamber filter presses, and represent the most commonly used plate.
Membrane plates bring excellent filtration effect and unimaginable benefits. Squeezing twice after completion for filtration can improve solid content of the cake. Membrane plate can carry out "Low pressure for filtration, higher pressure for squeezing." Improving life-span and reducing energy consumption. Improved washing effect, shortened washing time, saved washing liquid and improved quality of products.
Features:
High Pressure.
Alkali & Acid proof
High Temperature & Corrosion Resistant
Vacuum filter belts separate solids and liquids during the processing of minerals, ores, chemicals, dyes, foodstuffs, coal and paper, as well as in flue-gas desulfurization systems and in fertilizer production, etc.
Fabric conveyor belts serve as the basis for a broad range of applications for the harvesting of beets, potatoes and other vegetables. We offer high quality chain belts with a particularly uniform belt surface for use in harvesters and other agricultural machinery.
